Krishnaiah Byagari's work experience begins in 2008, as a Summer Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Science, where they studied the nature of mutations in chbR. Krishnaiah then worked as a Teaching Associate at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, they joined Cytel as a Software Affiliate, where they developed C++ engines for recruitment models in multi-center clinical trials and played a key role in designing and developing UI in R for simulation engines. Krishnaiah also worked on a C++ analytical engine for Phase II clinical trials. In 2019, Krishnaiah joined Infor as a Software Engineer Senior, enhancing real-time miner modeling and analysis and addressing software vulnerabilities. Finally, in 2020, they returned to Cytel as a Software Development Lead, scaling on-premise engines onto cloud platforms.

Krishnaiah Byagari completed their Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Biotechnology from NIT Warangal, from 2006 to 2010. Before entering higher education, Krishnaiah attended Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Hyderabad from 1999 to 2006, although the specific degree and field of study were not mentioned.
