Alexander Dumont

Alexander Dumont began their career in 2013 as an Associate Software Engineer at Adminovate, where they were responsible for quality assurance and control of an intermediary visual language, as well as conducting front and back-end programming. In 2019, they became a Teaching Assistant at Temple University College of Engineering. In 2020, they joined Coherent Inc. as a Senior Product Development Engineer, where they interfaced with highly technical customers, worked with cross-functional engineering teams to design and prove new product ideas, and coordinated with Manufacturing Engineering to create work instructions and transfer products to production. In 2022, they began working as a Senior Optical Engineer at CytoVeris, where they developed and implemented new optical imaging technologies into products targeted for use in cancer surgery, modeled, designed and developed new generations of optical systems for biomedical applications, and transitioned the results of advanced development activities to product design, engineering and manufacturing. Additionally, they have held Research Assistant and other roles at Temple University.

Alexander Dumont's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Temple University College of Engineering, obtained between 2016 and 2020.
