Iris S.

Iris S. has a diverse range of work experience spanning from 2010 to 2023. Iris began their career at Obama for America in 2010 as an intern. In 2011, they joined the College Democrats at UCF, serving in the Progressive Caucus until 2012. During this time, Iris also took on multiple leadership roles, including President and Vice President of the Secular Student Alliance at UCF.

In 2012, Iris became the Treasurer of the Green Party of the United States Youth Caucus and later served as the Campaign Manager for Knights Against 8, leading a student-led campaign against an amendment related to public funding of religious schools.

Iris entered the customer service industry in 2016, working as an Inbound Customer Service Specialist at ADT and then as a Senior Technician ProofPoint Support at Sutherland Global Services.

Their career shifted towards the technology field in 2017 when they joined Datto, Inc. as a Technical Support Expert BCDR - Level 1, troubleshooting and documenting backups for different servers. Iris then advanced to the role of Networking Technical Support Expert 1, troubleshooting networking implementation for small to medium businesses. Iris later became the Team Lead - Sr. Networking Technical Support Expert, where they created standardized technical coaching and worked closely with the product team to address important bugs and improvements. Iris also worked as a Networking Technical Support Engineer, focusing on technical escalations and bug reporting for Datto networking.

In 2022, Iris joined Veriff as a Technical Support Engineer, specializing in incident management, custom reporting, and data deletion in compliance with GDPR regulations. Their tenure at Veriff also involved working with SQL and developing an incident management database.

Most recently, Iris has been working at Cytracom as a Support Specialist - Tier 2, starting in 2023.

Iris S. earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Political Science and Government with a minor in Women's Studies from the University of Central Florida. Iris attended the university from 2010 to 2014.
