Marianna Fassinotti has a strong background in the financial industry, with experience at several reputable firms. Marianna began their career at Lehman Brothers as an MBS Research Associate from 2001 to 2005. Marianna then moved on to UBS Investment Bank, where they worked as an Associate Director from 2007 to 2009. After that, Fassinotti joined Siguler Guff & Company, initially serving as a Principal from 2009 to 2013 and later becoming a Managing Director. In this role, they were responsible for investment strategy implementation and development, investment sourcing and selection, negotiations of terms and conditions, as well as portfolio monitoring and risk management. Since 2015, Fassinotti has been a Managing Director and co-Portfolio Manager at The D. E. Shaw Group, specifically leading the Private Credit investment unit.
Marianna Fassinotti completed their education in a chronological manner, starting with a Bachelor's degree in Government from Harvard University, from 1997 to 2001. Afterward, they pursued further education at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, where they earned their MBA in Finance from 2005 to 2007.
