Aaron Spira

Aaron Spira serves as the Chief Legal Officer for Daikin Industries, Ltd., leading a global legal team to implement strategies that support the business objectives of Daikin Americas' HVAC, Chemical, and Air Filter divisions. With extensive experience as SVP, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary for Daikin Comfort Technologies and Daikin Applied Americas, Aaron has played a crucial role in managing legal affairs for a major player in the HVAC industry. Prior to joining Daikin, Aaron held various positions at Whirlpool Corporation, including VP & Deputy General Counsel, focusing on litigation, antitrust, and regulatory compliance. Aaron's legal career began with roles at Goldberg Kohn Ltd. and Kirkland & Ellis LLP, as well as a policy analyst position with the ACLU and the Office of Senator Cheryl Jacques. Aaron holds a JD from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a BA from Earlham College.
