Angela Friend, PhD, currently serves as Vice President of Data Science at DailyPay, Inc., where leadership in AI innovation within fintech has led to the development of a new model enhancing earned wage access. Prior experience includes roles at datagusto as an Advisory Board Member, at Maxar Technologies as Sr. Manager of Data Science focusing on customer behavior analytics, and at Market Force Information as Senior Strategist/Data Scientist, where production-level predictive models were developed. Angela's academic background involves significant research contributions during tenures at the University of Colorado, including positions as Research Associate, Research Fellow, and Research Assistant, with a focus on cognitive psychology and behavioral genetics. Angela holds a PhD in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
