Craig Richards has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Craig began their career in 1999 at Detroit Diesel, where they held various roles as a Controls Engineer. Craig was responsible for leading multiple projects, including the development of flexible human robotic interaction inspection stations and implementing process and production improvements. In 2016, Richards joined Daimler Truck North America, where they initially served as an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, leading a cross-functional team to reduce cycle time and increase first pass yield. Craig then transitioned to the role of Manager, where they managed a team of engineers and technologies for braking, stability, and suspension controls in mechatronics engineering. Craig was involved in integrating advanced driver assistance features into ABS systems. Richards then moved on to their current role as a Support Manager to the Senior VP of Engineering at Daimler Truck North America.
Craig Richards attended Purdue University from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a degree in EET (Electrical Engineering Technology).
