Aly-Khan Jamal

Aly-Khan Jamal is currently a partner at Dalberg, a global consulting firm. Aly-Khan has over fifteen years of experience in management consulting and private equity. Aly-Khan's sector focus has been on telecoms, media & technology (TMT), retail / FMCG and heavy industry / infrastructure.

Jamal’s experience includes strategic marketing, new product development, market research, customer communications strategy, pricing strategy, business process outsourcing, NPD, industrial supply chain optimization and more. Aly-Khan has worked extensively in Europe and Emerging markets such as India and Sub-Saharan Africa. In 2007, they presented a piece of IP on Trends in Private Equity in emerging markets.

Most recently, Jamal was a project manager at Dalberg Global Development Advisors from 2010 to 2012 where they led cases in renewable energy, agriculture / agro-processing, healthcare / pharmaceuticals, social enterprise incubation, sanitation, BoP business model development and M&A into frontier / emerging markets.

Aly-Khan Jamal attended McGill University, where they earned a Master’s Degree in Economics. Aly-Khan also participated in the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School. Finally, they obtained their BA in Politics, Philosophy, Economics from the University of Oxford.
