Bertrand Assamoi

Bertrand is an Associate Partner with Dalberg Advisors, where he leverages his advisory experience, management skills and passion for addressing Africa’s development challenges to support Dalberg’s growth in Africa as a key driver of the continent’s economic and social progress, especially in digital technology, inclusive business growth.

Bertrand has 15 years of professional experience including more than 10 in management consulting, where his responsibilities ranged from strategic planning to economic analysis and health system transformation. After building up a successful career as a management consultant with top-tier advisory firms in North America such as Accenture, Deloitte and Capgemini, Bertrand chose to advise leading African businesses, governments and multilateral institutions as part of organizations such as the World Economic Forum and the Africa CEO Forum.

Bertrand holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Distinction from York University’s Schulich School of Business in Canada. He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the same institution, as well as a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Bertrand is fluent in English and French and proficient in German.
