Max Ateba

Max Ateba, an Associate Partner based in the Washington, DC office, is a leader in the Dalberg’s global finance & investment practice where he focuses on blended finance, health equity, partnerships, and market systems for sustainable growth.

With over 15 years of experience, Max has also recently completed work that ranges from developing a market assessment for a large fintech looking to expand in Africa and Latin America, to conducting a feasibility study for multi-million dollar innovative financing facility to support SMEs in the biodiversity conservation and low emissions development space.

Prior to joining Dalberg, Max was an Executive Director at Ovamba Solutions and had also been a banker at J.P.Morgan. Prior to that, Max was an associate at Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment and served as a Warrant Officer in the U.S. Army’s Medical Services Corps.

Max holds an MBA from St. John’s University, an MA in Development Economics, and a BA in Economics from the Pontifical Gregorian University.
