Shola Salako

Shola Salako is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in pension management and trustee roles. Currently serving as a Trustee and Chair of Trustee at Dalriada Trustees Limited since June 2018, Shola addresses diverse issues across various schemes through an inclusive and collaborative approach. Previously, Shola worked as a Pension Fund Manager at De Beers UK from February 2004 to December 2017, overseeing substantial pension arrangements both in the UK and overseas. Earlier career highlights include the role of Pensions Technical Manager at Halliburton, where Shola established a Myners’ Committee, and Team Manager at Mercer, managing a team of administrators and ensuring staff development. Shola holds a Master’s Degree in Corporate Governance and Business Ethics from Birkbeck, University of London, and is a Fellow of The Pensions Management Institute, further underscoring a strong foundational expertise in pensions and related fields.
