Mark has also worked as the Head of Civil Aviation for the St Helena Government and as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) & Board member for Regional & City Airports (RCA). Mark has a strong background in aviation business development, with experience in driving passenger volumes, forging strategic relationships with airline partners, and developing ancillary revenue streams. Mark has also worked in roles related to airline relations and corporate sales at companies such as Etihad Airways and British Airways. Mark's diverse experience and leadership skills make him a valuable asset in the aviation industry.

Mark S. has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Queen Mary University of London. In 2015, they attended the University of Westminster for a course on Air Transportation. Mark also holds a Management Diploma in Business Administration and Management from Robert Gordon University.
