Lead EV Application Engineer at Dana

Ryo Takagi has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Ryo started their career at AVL as a Calibration and Commissioning Engineer, working on diesel and gasoline engines. Ryo then joined ZF Group as an Application Engineer, specializing in Automatic Transmissions for passenger and commercial vehicles. During their tenure at ZF Group, they also worked as a Resident Application Engineer, providing on-site support for vehicle development projects.

After ZF Group, Ryo Takagi joined BorgWarner Inc. as a Staff Application Engineer and later as a Technical Program Lead. In these roles, they oversaw technical issues in the development of RWD and FWD base 4WD/AWD systems for Japanese vehicle manufacturers. Ryo also led engineering teams in finding solutions for engineering issues and communicated with customers' engineering teams.

Ryo Takagi obtained a Bachelor's degree in an unspecified field of study from Tokyo Institute of Technology between 1996 and 2000. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution from 2000 to 2002.
