Xiang (Eric) Dong is a distinguished clinical associate professor of surgery at the University of Vermont College of Medicine since April 2021. Concurrently, Xiang serves as the vice chair of surgery at Norwalk Hospital and the regional chief of surgical oncology at both Danbury Hospital and Nuvance Health, roles held since January 2021. Prior experience includes clinical associate professor at New York Medical College until January 2021, and surgical oncologist at Westchester Medical Center from March 2016 to January 2021. Previously, Xiang held leadership positions such as director of surgical oncology at Stamford Health and completed a surgical oncology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from Duke University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
