Rune Schmidt Qvist

Rune Schmidt Qvist has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Research Assistant at Danmarks Nationalbank from February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Studentermedhjælper at De Økonomiske Råds Sekretariat from December 2021 to January 2023. Rune Schmidt also gained experience as a Fodbolddommer at Dansk Boldspil-Union (DBU) from June 2020 to September 2022. Additionally, they worked as a Mentor at MentorDanmark from December 2020 to November 2021. Rune has also worked as a Bartender at Sovino Brands from July 2021 to October 2021, and as a Køkkenassistent at Torvets Brasserie and Pædagogmedhjælper at Lundebjerg BFO in 2020. In 2019, they worked as a Bartender at North Event ApS. Prior to that, they were a Selbstständig and co-founded a small fashion brand called ALL F, focusing on marketing, design, and other aspects from December 2016 to September 2020. Before that, they worked as a Lektiehjælper, primarily tutoring in math, Danish, and English for a fourth-grade student in October to December 2018.

Rune Schmidt Qvist has a diverse education history. From 2006 to 2014, they attended Egebjergskolen but did not obtain any specific degrees or fields of study during this period. Later, from 2014 to 2016, they attended Marie Kruses Skole without pursuing any specific degrees or fields of study.

In 2016, Rune enrolled at Borupgaard Gymnasium and completed their Studentereksamen from 2016 to 2019, specializing in Samfundsfag (social sciences) and Matematik (mathematics). During the same period, from 2017 to 2019, they also participated in a Diplomprogram at Akademiet for Talentfulde Unge.

In 2019, Rune acquired a one-year scholarship to study Philosophy and Economics at Oglethorpe University. Rune Schmidt then transferred to Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Økonomi (economics) from 2020 to 2023.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Rune obtained a certification as a Fodbolddommer (football referee) in May 2020 through the Dansk Boldspil-Union (DBU).
