Thomas Munkebo Steffensen

Thomas Munkebo Steffensen began their work experience in 2012 as a Student Assistant at the University of Southern Denmark, a position they held until July 2013. In 2016, they joined Danmarks Nationalbank, where they started as an Economist and worked until December 2019. Thomas Munkebo then moved up to the role of Risk Manager, which they held until June 2021. Currently, they are working as a Senior Risk Manager at Danmarks Nationalbank.

Thomas Munkebo completed a Master Thesis at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark in 2016. The topic of their thesis was "The impact of business cycle fluctuations on optimal capital structure choices".

Prior to that, they obtained a Kandidatgrad in Finance & Economics from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark in the years 2014-2016.

Thomas also holds a Bachelor of Science in European Studies from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, which they obtained in the years 2010-2013.

During their undergraduate studies, they also briefly studied European Studies at the University of North Florida in 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Thomas completed the Global Capital Market Solutions Trading Course offered by Global Capital Market Solutions (GCMS) in September 2014.
