Ion Burlacu

Ion Burlacu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in IT and digital transformation, currently serving as the Director of Global Tech for Business Platforms at Danone since January 2005. Key achievements include co-leading significant initiatives such as the S4H Study, the development of the Danone ERP Strategy, and the transformation of the SAP ecosystem to enhance delivery models through automation. Previously, in roles such as Director of Global IT Operations and Director of EMEA IT Operations, Ion has driven substantial improvements in infrastructure, cost optimization, and strategic business integrations. Prior experience includes managerial positions at Howard Johnson Grand Plaza Hotel and JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel, where significant systems implementations and innovative solutions were achieved. Ion is currently pursuing executive development in strategic leadership at CEDEP.
