Giovanni Baleani

Giovanni Baleani has extensive work experience as a software engineer and team leader. Giovanni began their career in 2000 at Filippetti SPA, where they worked as a Software Developer, focusing on collaboration and CMS web applications. Giovanni also served as a cloud system operator for a high-volume web application. In 2014, they transitioned to the role of Senior Software Architect, playing a key role in the design and development of an IoT platform. Giovanni developed a C++/Java timeseries and logs service and a multitenant and distributed MQTT broker. Additionally, they were involved in the deployment and monitoring of various legacy and microservices-based applications using Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Grafana. In 2022, they moved on to Sysdig, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer for a few months. As of 2023, they are currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer at Dante Genomics.
