Muhammad Faraz has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Muhammad began their career as an HR Executive at DUNYA NEWS, where they contributed to talent acquisition and implemented a digital performance management system. Muhammad then joined Nestlé as an Associate Intern, where they developed a dashboard for tracking business contributions. Faraz later joined BAT as a Global Graduate Marketing, representing Pakistan at the company's Grad Academy in London. Muhammad subsequently worked as a Brand Executive for a new product launch and as an Area Manager, leading commercial teams and driving business expansion. Currently, Faraz is the Head of Search at Daraz, focusing on consumer relevancy improvements and leading the Search Operations team. Overall, their responsibilities have included marketing, project management, team leadership, and strategic planning.

Muhammad Faraz completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from the Lahore School of Economics from 2016 to 2018. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. In 2016, they earned a certification in AdWords from Google. In 2017, they obtained certifications in Analytics and E-Commerce Analytics, also from Google. In 2020, they received certifications in Product Management with Lean, Agile and System Design Thinking from Boston University, Data Analytics for Business Professionals from LinkedIn, and Viral Marketing and How to Craft Contagious Content from Wharton Online.
