John Blevins has extensive experience in materials engineering, with a career spanning several decades at the Air Force Research Laboratory and currently at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Since March 2023, John Blevins has served as a Program Manager for the Next Generation Microelectronics Manufacturing Program at DARPA. Prior to this role, John Blevins held the position of Principal Materials Engineer at the Air Force Research Laboratory from October 2018 to March 2023, where management of the Networked C3 portfolio and direction of wide bandgap semiconductor technologies were key responsibilities. From September 2009 to October 2018, John Blevins worked as a Senior Materials Engineer at the Sensors Directorate and earlier held senior roles in various directorates at the Air Force Research Laboratory from 1988 to 2009. John Blevins earned a Master of Engineering in Materials Engineering from the University of Dayton and a Bachelor of Engineering in Materials Science and Engineering from Wright State University.
