James Karschner, WSO-CSSD, TSSP, has extensive experience in law enforcement, investigations, and security management. Currently serving as a CGIS Special Agent and Chief Petty Officer Investigator with the U.S. Coast Guard since May 2004, James is involved in criminal investigations and law enforcement intelligence collection, holding a Top Secret Security Clearance. Additionally, James serves as a Safety and Security Officer for the Delaware Transit Corporation and an Associate Instructor at the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Transportation Safety Institute, focusing on bus collision investigations. Previous experience includes a Master Sergeant with the Wilmington Police Department, where James specialized in fatal collision investigations and supervision. James's education includes a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Liberty University and various certifications related to military leadership and law enforcement training.
