Melinda Hite

Melinda Hite has an extensive work experience in the housing and property management fields. From 2022 to present, they have been the General Manager of PM Compliance - Strategic Operations at Darwin Homes, where they are responsible for ensuring proper execution of administrative functions concerning utility management, HOA, housing assistance, licensing, registrations, inspections, Business Tax Registration and any other municipal mandated administrative tasks. Melinda also serves as the Senior Compliance Manager, promoting an excellent resident experience through personalized onboarding and case management. From 2018 to 2022, they were the Property Manager at Denstock LLC, where they directed the planning, organization, and monitoring of a 204 unit property. From 2016 to 2018, they were the Director of Ops/Director of Housing Program/Asset Manager/Housing Choice Voucher Program Manager at the CHARLOTTESVILLE REDEVELOPMENT & HOUSING AUTHORITY, where they planned, organized, and directed the daily management and administration of the agency's public housing developments. From 2006 to 2016, they were the Housing Choice Voucher Program Administrator/Asset Manager at the STAUNTON REDEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING AUTHORITY, where they were responsible for day-to-day operations and all aspects of social case worker for 150 Public Housing and 250 Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Households.
