Melissa Piercey

Melissa Piercey is a seasoned professional in business intelligence and data operations, currently serving as the Head of Business Intelligence at Dash Hudson since August 2024. Previously, Melissa was the Director of Data & Customer Systems at Backlight, where Melissa led the unification of go-to-market applications following a series of acquisitions. Melissa also held the role of VP Analytics and Data Operations at Celtx, managing a team of data specialists to establish a comprehensive data pipeline utilizing Google Cloud Platform. Earlier experience includes positions as a Salesforce Developer at Verafin and ClearRisk, and as a Business Intelligence Developer at Celtx, where Melissa contributed to enhancing user engagement and analytics capabilities. Additionally, Melissa served as Director of Cloud Services at ID Security Experts Inc., overseeing technical operations and resource maximization. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Memorial University, Newfoundland and Labrador.
