Richard Jason Litang worked as a Junior Full Stack Software Engineer at Dashlabs.ai from March 2022. Before that, Richard worked at Taganito HPAL Nickel Corporation. From January 2019 to November 2021, they were a DCS Control Room Operator (Reserve Shift Supervisor), operating a steam power plant and its auxiliaries without any unplanned shutdowns. Richard Jason also proactively identified and resolved major equipment and system failures, mentored and trained colleagues, and contributed to process documentation. Prior to that, from February 2017 to January 2019, they worked as a Field Operations Engineer, conducting operation checklists, diagnosing equipment failures, and writing and revising Standard Operating Procedures.
Richard Jason Litang completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of San Carlos from 2011 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications, including "Climate Change Mitigation in Developing Countries," "Global Environmental Management," "Smart Cities - Management of Smart Urban Infrastructures," and "Strategic Innovation: Building and Sustaining Innovative Organizations" from Coursera. Richard Jason also successfully passed the Mechanical Engineering Board Exam administered by the Philippine Professional Regulation Commission in October 2016.
