David Pinkerton

David Pinkerton has worked in the fields of data science, chemometrics, and analytical chemistry since 2007. David began their career as a Salesperson at Nordstrom in 2007, followed by a role as an Analytical Chemistry Research Assistant at the University of Washington in 2011. In 2012, David was hired as the Director of Sales at Custora, before returning to the University of Washington as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant in 2012. In 2018, they held two positions as a Data Scientist at Analytics Pros and Adswerve, Inc., before becoming a Chemometrician at JP3 Measurement, LLC in 2019. In 2020, they were hired as a Senior Data Scientist and Chemometrician at Flotek Industries, Inc. and is currently a Data Scientist at Data Skrive since 2021.

David Pinkerton obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biochemistry from the University of Washington in 2011. David then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Chemistry from the same institution, which they obtained in 2016. Finally, in 2017, they received a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Washington. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in December 2017.
