Ivo Dimitrov

Ivo Dimitrov is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in engineering and software development. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering for Distributed Data Systems at Datadog since June 2021, Ivo previously held the position of Senior Director of Software Engineering at LinkedIn from September 2014 to June 2021, managing critical storage and media processing infrastructure teams. Prior to LinkedIn, Ivo worked at Microsoft for eight years, advancing from Principal Development Manager to Senior Development Lead, where leadership involved developing scalable distributed storage platforms. Ivo began a career in software engineering at Insession Labs, focusing on middleware development across various platforms. Ivo holds a Master of Science in Decision Support Systems from the University of Sunderland and a Master of Science in Control Theory from Technical University Sofia.
