Karen Camacho

Karen Camacho has a diverse work experience in various roles. Karen is currently working at DATAMARK, Inc. as the Information Security Lead, where they ensure compliance to security standards and identifies security threats. Prior to this, they worked as an Information Security Specialist at the same company, where they assessed security risks and implemented improvements.

Before joining DATAMARK, Inc., Karen worked at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso as a Senior Analyst, overseeing the admission application process and managing student electronic records. Karen also worked as an Analyst II at the same institution, where they reviewed and processed admission applications and collaborated with IT to implement software.

In the past, Karen worked at El Paso Community College as a Program Support Clerk, where they advised prospective students, managed calendars and events, and collected student records. Karen also worked as a Student Athletic Trainer at The University of Texas at El Paso, where they guided student athletes in rehabilitation programs and maintained their medical records.

Additionally, Karen worked as a Work Study Student at El Paso Community College, where they mentored students regarding transfer services and managed confidential staff files.

Karen Camacho earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from The University of Texas at El Paso from 2015 to 2017. Karen then pursued a Master of Education in Student Development & Leadership in Higher Education at Angelo State University from 2019 to 2020.
