Daniel Calderon

Daniel Calderon has extensive experience in procurement and category management. Daniel is currently the Director of Procurement at Dataminr, where they are responsible for building the procurement organization from scratch. Prior to this, they worked at MongoDB as a Procurement Manager, overseeing global technology sourcing and procurement. Daniel also served as a Senior Procurement Analyst at MongoDB. Earlier in their career, Calderon held roles at Danone, where they managed spend and supplier relationships for various categories, including specialty ingredients and IT. Daniel also worked as a Buyer in the indirect goods and services category, focusing on waste management and market research. Additionally, they gained experience as a Business Analyst at Yuzu.co and as a Contract Manufacturing Category Buying Co-Op at L'Oréal. Calderon's work experience also includes an internship in market research at SAMES KREMLIN.

Daniel Calderon has a strong educational background in the field of purchasing, procurement/acquisitions, and contracts management. Daniel obtained a Master's degree from Grenoble IAE in 2013, specializing in this field of study. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, where they studied from 2007 to 2012.
