Josh Morgan

Director, Public Sector Customer Success at Dataminr

Josh Morgan has a diverse work experience that includes roles in customer success, account management, and the military. Josh began their career as a Business Owner and Trainer, running a successful personal training business and working as a Strength Coach. In 2015, they joined the United States Marine Corps as an Infantry Officer, leading and training Marines. Josh later transitioned to the Marine Innovation Unit, where they played a role in talent management.

In 2016, Josh joined Indeed.com as an Account Manager, supporting customers' use of the platform. Josh quickly advanced to the position of Senior Account Manager, responsible for a book of business valued at over $1.5 million. After a year at Indeed, they left to fulfill their military reserve duty.

Josh's most recent position is with Dataminr, where they have held various roles since 2019. Josh started as a Customer Success Manager, leading a strategic enterprise account on the US Defense team. Josh then progressed to the role of Senior Customer Success Manager, overseeing a team of Customer Success Associates. Currently, they serve as the Director of Public Sector Customer Success, leading a team of consultants and managing strategic partnerships with senior executives.

Throughout their career, Josh has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a focus on customer success.

Josh Morgan is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Organizational Leadership and Business Strategy from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Josh is expected to graduate in 2023. Prior to this, they completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Exercise Science & Nutrition at Sacred Heart University. Josh'sundergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Exercise Science, also from Sacred Heart University.
