Akila Amarasinghe

Akila Amarasinghe has seven years of work experience, beginning in 2012 as President of the Chess Club Maliyadeva College. In 2016, Akila began working as a Chess Instructor at Maliyadeva College. In 2017, Akila began working as a Senior Committee Member and Treasurer at the Leo Club of University of Colombo, Faculty of Science. In 2019, Akila became an Executive - MIS & Data Analytics at Airtel Sri Lanka. In 2020, Akila became an Executive - MIS and Analytics at Hutch Sri Lanka. Most recently, Akila began working as a Business Intelligence Engineer at DATAMTX LLC in 2021.

Akila Amarasinghe has a comprehensive education history. Akila obtained a Bachelor of Science - BSc degree from the University of Colombo between 2017 and 2020. Akila then pursued a Master's degree in Business Analytics (Reading) at Robert Gordon University between 2021 and 2023. Akila also attended Maliyadeva College, Kurunegala. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from Coursera, including Python for Everybody Specialization, Using Databases with Python, Using Python to Access Web Data, Predictive Modelling with Azure Machine Learning Studio, Python Data Structures, Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python), Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure, Getting Started with Power BI Desktop, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning.
