We are looking for a Business Development Representative to help us support our top-of-funnel efforts. You will report to our VP of Marketing and work closely with our Senior Manager of Demand Generation and Director of Strategy & Business Operations. Your focus will be connecting with leads to book demos for our Account Executives. To be successful you will learn about our industry, prospects, and value propositions. Your consultative approach with prospects will influence how they evaluate our offering and consider evolving their hiring.
 

You will:

  • Manage the general sales inbox
  • Secure conversations with inbound MQLs
  • Pursue leads across various channels (email, LinkedIn, phone)
  • Write thoughtful, well-written emails and other outreach to prospects
  • Contribute to our Demand Generation efforts and message testing
  • Record all sales activity and data in across multiple systems (HubSpot, AirCall, Gong)

You have:

  • 1+ year of business or sales development, account management, or related experience
  • Company and contact research skills to inform communications
  • Note taking and date entry experience
  • Work authorization in your country of legal residence

  • Have a high level of proficiency in English;
  • Have reliable home internet;
  • Can work a schedule that generally overlaps with a typical US East Coast work day (9am - 5pm GMT-5).
For international roles, Datapeople partners with a local Employer of Record (EOR) to manage your pay and benefits. Benefits are country-specific but generally include medical, vision, and dental insurance, mental health support, and more. Actual compensation is determined by many factors including candidate experience and skills; location/market; and business needs but anticipated base compensation is $40,000 - $50,000 USD, along with an uncapped incentive structure and equity.
