Justin Larsen

Justin Larsen is the current Chief Financial Officer at DataProphet. Prior to this, they were the Director at Iconiq from September 2020 to June 2021, where they worked with the executive team to shape their strategy. Justin has also been the Group Chief Financial Officer at Avior Capital Markets (Pty) Ltd from November 2017 to June 2020, and has led finance, risk, HR and trade operations across the United Kingdom, USA, and South African entities. Justin has also been recognised for successfully concluding numerous system, process and capital optimisation projects to dramatically improve business competitiveness.

After completing high school, Justin Larsen attended the University of Cape Town, where they obtained a B. Bus. Sci. (2000-2003) with Distinction in Information Systems. Justin then completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (2005) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management in Accounting (2004). After completing their academic studies, Justin Larsen obtained certification from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) as a Chartered Accountant (SA).
