Thibauld Braet

Thibauld Braet began their work experience in 2017 at Barco, where they worked as a Web Developer Intern, gaining experience with technologies such as Angular 2, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Thibauld also worked on a project related to machine learning techniques for the development of a digital dermatoscope.

In 2018, Thibauld held multiple roles. Thibauld worked as an Allround Technology + Business Intern at My_SmartBottle, contributing to various aspects of the startup, including mechanical principles, product design, and backend platform development. Thibauld also worked as a Master Thesis Student at Bioracer Motion.

Thibauld then joined Feunig as a Vice President, responsible for organizing networking events and talks with industry professionals to connect consultants and students. Thibauld later transitioned to the role of Event Manager, organizing an event featuring CEOs and consultants discussing the relationship between managers and consultants.

Currently, Thibauld works at dataroots as an Analytics Translator. In this role, they act as a liaison between the engineering and business teams, collecting stakeholder needs, aligning user and technical requirements, managing projects using agile methodologies, and translating technical results into business impact. Thibauld also utilizes Python libraries for data visualization.

Thibauld Braet has an extensive education history in the field of Computer Science Engineering. Thibauld obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Ghent University, where they studied from 2014 to 2017. Following that, Thibauld pursued their Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science Engineering at both Ghent University and EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne). Thibauld studied at Ghent University from 2017 to 2019 and attended EPFL in 2018 and 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Thibauld has also obtained several certifications to enhance their skillset. Thibauld completed the SQL for Data Science Specialization and the Data Visualization with Tableau Specialisation, both at the University of California, Davis, in December 2021 and November 2021, respectively. Thibauld also received certification in Azure AI Fundamentals from Microsoft in August 2021, and they became a Professional Scrum Master I through Scrum.org in September 2020.

Thibauld has further diversified their knowledge by acquiring certifications outside of the field of computer science. Thibauld completed the Harvard Spreadsheet modeling course offered by Harvard Business Publishing Education in September 2019. Additionally, they have certifications in tennis, including Aspirant-Initiator Tennis from Tennis Vlaanderen in August 2014 and Clubscheidsrechter from the same organization in February 2014.

Most recently, Thibauld obtained the Prefect Associate certification from Prefect in April 2023 and the dbt Fundamentals certification from dbt Labs in May 2023.
