Richard Cohen

Richard Cohen has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry. Richard began their career on the "sell side" of the global institutional equities business. Richard then transitioned to working as an analyst and trader for Aeneas Capital Management. However, the firm went out of business and Cohen was forced to re-group.

Richard landed a job at Country Group Securities Public Company Limited where they managed Research Sales, Sales Trading, and Execution for the North American Desk. The firm was ranked as the top broker in Malaysia during their tenure.

In 2020, Cohen became the Managing Director of North America at Confidia Global, LLC. Richard currently serves as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at DataSeers.

Richard Cohen has a Master's in Pacific International Affairs from UC San Diego School of Global Policy and Strategy (GPS), a Graduate Research Diploma from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies in US-Japan Relations, and a BA in Economics from UC Santa Barbara. Richard also has certification from the Securities Commission of Malaysia in CMSL (Stock broker license - Malaysia), the Monetary Authority of Singapore in CMFAS (Stock broker license - Singapore), and the National Association of Security Dealers (NASD) in Series 7 (Stock broker license USA).
