Miguel Alor

Miguel Alor has a diverse range of work experience spanning various roles and sectors. Miguel is currently the Project and Sales Manager at Datasketch, where they lead the implementation of data management solutions for international organizations. Prior to that, they served as a Professor at Universidad Norbert Wiener and as a Visiting Professor.

Miguel also has experience as the Leader of Government Innovation and Open Data projects at Tellmenets - Tecnología e Innovación, as well as a Project Leader and Steering Committee Member at Govtech Perú. Miguel has been involved in promoting open data policies and implementation in Latin American cities.

In addition, Miguel has worked as an Open Data Expert at the Centro para la Cuarta Revolución Industrial Colombia, where they developed policy and governance recommendations for smart sustainable cities. Miguel also served as the Project Manager for Peru at Estonia Hub, focusing on technological and commercial relationships between Peru and Estonia.

Earlier in their career, Miguel worked as an Event Manager for BBVA Banco Continental at Optimiza Construcción y Servicios S.A.C. and Sodexo. Additionally, they were involved in Communication for Development and Project Management at ILLA Centro de Educación y Comunicación, where they implemented and evaluated projects in various social issues.

Miguel Alor's education history is as follows:

- From 2009 to 2015, Miguel Alor attended Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication for Development.

- In 2018, Miguel Alor enrolled in the Pioneer Erasmus Mundus Master Program and studied Public Sector Innovation and e-Governance. This program continued until 2020.

- In 2018, Miguel Alor also participated in the Data for Good Challenge 2018 in Leuven, Belgium, organized by EMERGENT Leuven VZW.

- In 2019, Miguel Alor pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Public Sector Innovation and eGovernance from KU Leuven.

- In the same year, Miguel Alor attended the e-Governance Conference 2019 in Tallinn, Estonia, organized by e-Governance Academy.

- In 2019, Miguel Alor also pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Public Sector Innovation and eGovernance from the University of Münster.

- In 2019, Miguel Alor attended the Digital Excellence Forum @ ICT Proposers' Day 2019 organized by the European Commission.

- From 2019 to 2020, Miguel Alor studied Public Sector Innovation and eGovernance as a Master of Science (MS) student at TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology.

- In 2020, Miguel Alor participated as a Lecturer in the Open Government Digital Youth Summit organized by the Open Government Partnership.

- In the same year, Miguel Alor attended the e-Governance Conference 2020 organized by e-Governance Academy.

- In 2021, Miguel Alor obtained a certification in "Agilidad en la Continuidad Operativa" from The Business Is a Game.
