Caio Brentano dos Passos

Caio Brentano dos Passos has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and DevOps.

Starting in 2005, Caio worked as a Software Developer at getter for two years. In 2007, they joined Terra Networks as a Senior Systems Analyst, where they developed a critical monitoring system and improved monitoring and troubleshooting capabilities. Caio remained in this role until 2014.

In 2009, Caio took on freelance work as a developer and IT consultant at Studio Fiscal, providing their expertise until 2014.

From 2014 to 2017, Caio worked at Globo.com as a DevOps/Backend Developer. Caio'sresponsibilities included maintaining OpenStack Swift clusters and creating an API for NFS on NetApp storage appliances.

In 2018, Caio joined Grand Parade as a DevOps Engineer, where they contributed to the development and deployment of a betting engine platform. Caio remained in this role until 2022.

Recently, Caio has been working at Caesars Sportsbook as a DevOps Engineer. In this position, they play a key role in developing and deploying the company's betting engine platform. Caio'sresponsibilities include managing the SDLC process, software releases, and infrastructure provisioning.

In October 2022, Caio joined DataStax as a Software Engineer, where they continue to contribute their expertise in software development.

Throughout their career, Caio has gained knowledge and experience in various technologies, including Python, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, Gitlab-CI, Istio, Helm Charts, AWS, New Relic, Apache Kafka, and Cassandra DB.

From 2002 to 2007, they attended Universidade Estadual do Rio Grande do Sul, where they obtained their B.Sc. degree in Digital Systems Engineering.

Later, in the years 2009 to 2011, Caio pursued an MBA in IT Management from Unisinos, focusing on Business Administration and Management.

Additionally, in December 2021, they received the certification of CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation.
