Henrik Ingo

Henrik Ingo has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and companies. Henrik'smost recent role was as the Chief of Staff, Engineering at DataStax, where they worked on strategic initiatives across all of engineering, including budgeting, recruiting, and engineering excellence. Prior to that, they served as the VP Engineering EMEA at DataStax, leading functional teams and collaborating with strategic customers to enhance performance and quality.

Before joining DataStax, Henrik worked at MongoDB as a Senior Performance Engineer, where they developed automated frameworks for deploying and benchmarking MongoDB clusters. Henrik also held the role of Senior Solution Architect at MongoDB, providing technical pre-sales, consulting, and training services for customers in the Nordics and Europe.

Henrik also has experience as a Consultant at OpenLife.cc, where they provided IT maintenance and support, developed databases and web portals, and authored a book. Henrik worked at Nokia as a Senior Architect, Performance, focusing on database performance for HERE.com, while also providing MySQL architectural guidance. Additionally, they served as an Advisor at Codership, driving the company's strategy and securing funding.

Furthermore, Henrik held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Monty Program Ab, where they provided advanced MariaDB and MySQL services. Henrik worked as a MySQL Telecom Sales Engineer at Sun Microsystems, handling pre-sales for Telecom accounts and designing the agent for MySQL Cluster. Henrik also worked at MySQL AB as an EMEA Telecom Sales Engineer before its acquisition by Sun Microsystems.

Earlier in their career, Henrik served as a Business Unit Director at Sesca Technologies, where they worked on software design, testing, architecture, and pre-sales. Henrik also worked as a Research Assistant at Helsinki University of Technology, focusing on eLearning platform development and learning methodology research.

Henrik Ingo pursued their M.Sc degree from 1996 to 2005 at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan. During this time, they focused their studies on a combination of Physics, Information Technology, and Multimedia.
