Alan Spears

Alan Spears has a solid work history in product design, with their most recent role being the lead product designer and manager for growth and subscriptions at Dave starting in November 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a senior product designer for growth at Dave from October 2022 to January 2024. Before Dave, Alan was the director of product design at Alto from April 2021 to October 2022. Alan also worked as a senior product designer at WillowTree from April 2020 to May 2021, a product designer at Instawork from April 2019 to April 2020, and an art director at SOUTH / south.io from August 2014 to March 2019. Additionally, they have experience as a product designer at Camping World from January 2018 to January 2019 and at CodeLynx, Inc. from January 2012 to August 2014.

Alan Spears earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Writing and Business Leadership from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2011. Alan then pursued a Masters of Arts degree in Interactive Media at Elon University from 2011 to 2012.
