Michelle Smith, MSW, LICSW is an experienced mental health professional with a strong background in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for clients across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults. Currently serving as an Outpatient Therapist at David Hoy & Associates since October 2021, Michelle has previously held therapeutic positions at Ellie Family Services, Youth Service Bureau, Inc., and Family Adolescents and Children Therapy Services, utilizing therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). With a Master’s Degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from St. Catherine University and various roles in social work internships and case management, Michelle possesses a comprehensive skill set in assessing and treating emotional disturbances.
