Msls Andrea Akiti Mmpa

Andrea Akiti, MSLS, MMPA, has extensive experience in library management and customer service. Currently serving as Customer Experience Manager and previously as Circulation Services Manager at the DC Public Library since February 2013, Andrea oversees daily operations of the Circulation Services department. Prior roles include Supervisory Librarian/Branch Manager at the District of Columbia Public Library System from September 2011 to February 2013, and Librarian Principal/Branch Manager at the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System from May 2007 to September 2010. Earlier positions included Branch Manager at the Southwest Regional Library and Northside Library for Fulton County Government from June 1994 to September 2010. Andrea holds a Master of Science in Library Services from Clark Atlanta University, a Master of Management/Public Administration from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Mercer University.
