John Chuol Gatdet possesses significant experience in community health and risk education, currently serving as the Head of the Community Health Worker for Médecins Sans Frontières since December 2021. In addition, John has been a Mine Risk Education Facilitator at DDG since August 2016, focusing on community awareness regarding landmines and explosives while also conducting hazard surveys for EOD clearance. Since October 2014, John has held dual roles with UNMISS in Bentiu as a Materials Assistant, monitoring engineering materials, and as a Materials Manager, responsible for managing and updating comprehensive databases related to container logistics. John earned a Bachelor’s Degree and a postgraduate degree in Animal/Livestock Husbandry and Production from Upper Nile University between 2010 and 2016.
