Jackie Mapiloko

Jackie Mapiloko is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in corporate communications. Currently serving as Vice President of Communications for De Beers South Africa since July 2017, Jackie also oversees the communications function for De Beers Group's operations in South Africa and Canada. Prior roles include Corporate Communications Manager at De Beers Consolidated Mines, Senior Communications Manager at De Beers Group Managed Operations, and Corporate Communications Professional at AfriSam. Jackie started a career in journalism as an Investigative Reporter at City Press and Mail & Guardian, followed by a position as Communications Manager at Wits Business School. Jackie holds a degree in Journalism from the University of Johannesburg and completed Matric at Metlife Raucall High School.
