Phaedra Haringsma is a seasoned professional with experience in journalism, education, and sustainability. Currently serving as a Gastcorrespondent Koloniaal Heden at De Correspondent since October 2022, Phaedra is also a Programme Maker for Decolonial Dialogues at the University of Amsterdam from July 2023 to February 2024. Previous roles include Editor positions at Scribbr and Acume, a trainee at the Netherlands Embassy to Kuwait and Bahrain with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and a member of the Sustainability Retail Core Team at Ace & Tate, focusing on implementing sustainable solutions across Europe. Phaedra has a rich academic background, holding an MSc in International Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a BSc (Hons) in Politics, Psychology, Law and Economics from the University of Amsterdam. Additionally, Phaedra has contributed to the arts as a performer at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and served as a jury member for the IDFA DOC U Award.
