Sami Solkinen

Sami Solkinen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sami is currently the Head of Studio Operations at DECA Games, where they oversee a team of 80 people and directs various studio operations. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Producer at DECA Games, managing production, QA, and design teams for a PC MMORPG and a mobile game.

Before joining DECA Games, Solkinen worked at Blizzard Entertainment for several years. Their roles included Manager of the Esports PMO, where they ran the Project Management Office for esports and guided project managers. Sami also served as the Team Manager for Esports in Europe, overseeing operations for various Blizzard esports franchises.

Solkinen's experience at CCP involved working with development teams as a Producer and Associate Producer. Sami assisted with planning, execution, communication, and collaboration across different departments. Sami also served as the EVE Online microtransactions manager.
