David Drouard

David Drouard has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Their most recent position is as Head of PR&D at Primopus since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Process Technology at Deccan Fine Chemicals Pvt. Limited starting in September 2018. From November 2016 to October 2018, David served as the Process Technology Sourcing Lead at Syngenta, where they later became the Group Leader of Process Technology until October 2016. David also held the positions of Asset and Process Manager and Process Chemist Team Leader at Syngenta. Before Syngenta, David worked at Pfizer as a Drug Discovery Support Group Team Leader and Chemist. Additionally, they worked as a Combinatorial Chemistry / Drug Discovery Chemist at MAYBRIDGE Plc and as a Teaching Laboratory Demonstrator at the University of Bristol. David also gained research experience as a Research Chemist through an industrial case placement at Sanofi.

David DROUARD has a strong education background in the field of chemistry and biochemistry. David began their education at lycée alfred Mézières Longwy in 1991, where they obtained their Baccalauréat C with a focus on Maths and Physics. In 1993, they enrolled at university Joseph Fourier Grenoble and obtained their DEUG B degree in Biology Chemistry in 1995. David continued their studies at the same university and received a Licentiate degree in Biochimie in 1997. In 1998, they pursued a DEA in Molecular Chemistry at Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I) and completed it in 1999. Lastly, they attended the University of Bristol and obtained their PhD in Organic Chemistry in 2002.
