Cigdem Toraman

Cigdem Toraman has been working in the technology industry for over eight years. In 2013, they founded StartersHub US, a company that empowers high-potential tech startups to enter the U.S. market. Cigdem then went on to become the Managing Director of Startupbootcamp Istanbul, a leading acceleration program aimed at tech startups from Turkey, the Middle East, North Africa, and CIS countries. In 2023, they became the Managing Partner of Urbanite Venture, a business growth consulting company. Cigdem also served as a Strategic Advisor and Investor for Insumo, Triwi Technologies, Finsmart, Breath Hub - Your Breath Journey, and BeforeSunset. In 2018, they joined Mimiq as an Advisory Board Member, and in 2020 they became the Fractional CMO of Decktopus. Finally, in 2016, they joined Segmentify as an Executive Board Member.

Cigdem Toraman obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Yeditepe University in 1999, their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Engineering from Istanbul University in 1996, and completed a course in Computer Programming from Istanbul University in 1990.
