Tim started their career as a Scientific Applications Programmer at Western Geophysical. Tim then moved into management consulting, first as a Senior Consultant/Manager at Stone & Webster Engineering Corporation, and then as a Fiscal Modeling Consultant at Schlumberger.

In 2007, they joined GeoKnowledge, which was acquired by Schlumberger the following year. Tim then held various positions at Schlumberger, including Business Development Manager for the GeoX division.

Most recently, Tim has been working as a self-employed consultant, providing research and advisory services to public, private, and venture capital firms.

Tim Richardson has a MBA in finance from Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business, an MS in geophysics from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, and a BS in geology from The University of New Mexico.
