Lawrence Nongi

Lawrence Nongi has extensive experience in the drilling industry, holding various roles primarily as a drill fitter. Beginning in June 2010 at Capital Drilling, Lawrence worked in Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands until April 2012. Lawrence continued as a drill fitter mechanic at Traverse Drilling International from May 2012 to July 2013, focusing on breakdown attendance and servicing drill rigs and mobile plants. Since August 2013, Lawrence has been with Deepcore Drilling, starting as a drill fitter and advancing to the position of Leading Hand in December 2022, while also working at the Ok Tedi Mine during that time.
