Christos Papachristou

Christos Papachristou has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and technology. Christos is currently working as the IoT Director at DeepSea Technologies since June 2019. Previously, they served as a Senior Systems Engineer at METIS Cyberspace Technology from November 2016 to May 2019.

Before that, Christos worked at Rea Group Hotels as a Network Design Engineer from July 2014 to May 2016. In this role, they were responsible for the installation, upgrade, and design of wired and wireless network components. Christos also provided consulting on failover and high-availability strategies.

Christos has also held various systems engineering positions in different companies. Christos worked at Prisma Electronics SA from June 2015 to March 2016, where they were involved in the design and implementation of embedded systems. Christos Papachristou received their Diploma in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) in 2001. Christos then went on to obtain an MSc in Computer Science from Panepistimio Kritis from 2002 to 2004. Subsequently, Christos pursued further education and earned a PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) between 2005 and 2011.
