Dr. Anna Gründler

Dr. Anna Gründler has a wealth of experience in the field of operations, consulting, research, and management. Dr. Anna began their career in 2008 as a Manager Interface and Risk Offshore Wind and a Dual Studies/Trainee at EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG. In 2014, they worked as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at Fraunhofer FIT. From 2016 to 2021, they were a Consultant at McKinsey & Company. In 2018, they began working as a PhD Candidate and Research Assistant at TU Dortmund University, which they continued in 2019 at Heinrich Heine Universität Düsseldorf - Lehrstuhl für BWL, insb. Management. Currently, they are the Head of Operations at deepset, where they are bringing NLP to the industry by building open-source frameworks & models, helping enterprises to build production-ready NLP services with deepset Cloud, and being trusted by Airbus, Siemens, Infineon, PwC, and eon.

Dr. Anna Gründler's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD from the University of Düsseldorf in Business Administration and Management, General from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned an M Sc (hons) from the Technical University of Munich in Finance and Information Management from 2013 to 2016. Dr. Anna also had a research stay at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in Energy Economics from 2016 to 2016. Her educational journey began with a Bachelor of Arts - BA from the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) in Business Administration and Management, General from 2008 to 2011.
